About Kurt

 

Kurt is originally from Bourbon County, Kentucky. He was called into ministry in 1995 at the age of 22 and entered Kentucky Christian College in the spring of 1996. He and his wife, Jenny, met at Northern Heights Christian Church in Lexington, Kentucky, where he also served as the interim youth minister during the summer of 1997. Duing the summer of 1996, Kurt was hired as the middle school youth ministry intern at Southern Acres Christian Church in Lexington. After his graduation from KCC in 1999, was hired as the Children’s and Middle School minister at Southern Acres.

In 2000, Kurt received a call to become the Student Minister at Valley Mills Christian Church in Indianapolis, IN. He remained in student ministry for 3 more years. In 2003, Kurt became the Equipping (Associate) Minister at Valley Mills, where he served until August 2008.

Kurt is excited to be at Christian Chapel! He has fallen in love with the people and area of Martin County and is looking forward to see what God will do next.
